All Seasons Grande Florida Miami

One can see why it has sprung up so fast, the beaches are lovely and long and sandy. The surf looks great, only problem is that it looks like Dubai with sprawling skyscrapers by the dozen. Behind these there are large multi-lane roads built back from the main beaches lined with thousands of small ugly strip-malls. The whole ...

... then one of them twatted himself with the whip and squealed like a pig. Me & Lorna just sat there laughing whilst a load of people ran across worried about him!! Clearly we are going to be bad parents!! As it happens, the kid had done no damage so no harm done then. Not much else to report. It's been really good here though, as we have been right on top of a good beach.

A lie in this morning as we had no plans. This became another one of our relaxation days. After getting out of bed about 10am, we just sat outside the van for a couple off hours in the sun. We then went shopping before driving down to Miami beach and had lunch overlooking the beach and ocean - brilliant. We ended up staying there for hours just chilling out. As the sun went down, we went back to the park to have dinner and watch a film. Like I said earlier, a day of nothingness ...

well well well seems like I forgot to write :) I didn't the thing is ... I was excited, went back to Europe ... COLD, GREY, BLACK, DEPRESSED world ... and then came back to my little cosy home on the beach in Oz ... and it felt like I never left :)Everything is the same - here and there. But I never stopped ... traveling in my mind, heart, actions ... even during those windy, rainy nights, there is a bright light, like and internal clock ... ticking ...

Surfers Paradise was the place to enjoy the huge stretches of beach that just went on for miles and miles. Here it was party town and on the way to watch the rugby (4:30am!!) I passed many vomiting people and just about got to the quiet hotel bar to watch England beat Tonga to get to the QF on the world cup... just like being back home! I left Kuantan with a night bus at 1am and it took us 4hrs to KL. As it was 5 in the morning and had to find a taxi to the airport - read as; a perfect opportuninty to "rip off a foreigner" - came to the aiport early in the morning, checked in and waited ... waited ... 7.5 hrs to Sydney - why on earth are we going to sydney? looks like that it's normal to do that :) waited at the airport in sydney and left for Brizzie. ... 10 at one point!) but thankfully it's now in much better condition and she's planning on being fit for Wimbledon! That day we took a trip a little further down the coast to Burleigh Heads to watch some more serious surfers enjoy slightly better conditions than we did. Some of them make it look so easy - it really isn't! We've had a great time around the Gold Coast and Brisbane and are a bit sad to leave. Hopefully we'll be back someday! Christmas morning Kennedy and I woke everybody up, we were so exited. After everybody was fully awake Kennedy and I dressed up as Santa and an elf p.s. I was Santa. After everybody opened their presents we went to a lake and went paddle boating. At first we kept going in circles but after I took the wheel we were fine. After that it was so hot we had some ice cream and left.

... which is another new attraction in the park. Throughout the day we managed to get another 2 rides on Superman Escape within another hour block as well as another adventure on Scooby Doo's Spooky Coaster and have our fruit lunch during the parade, which featured memorable characters such as Bugs Bunny, Scooby Doo and the whip-brandishing Catwoman. ... It ended on the last night with one calling one Hitler and the other a Neanderthal cave man.I laughed my head off!!!!!!!!!!
