Since we traveled so much in the car yesterday, I kept us close to our resort. We attended Mass at St. Marys of the Assumption Catholic Church in the morning. The windows provided a view of the mountains while you sit in the church.

After lunch, we went to the Swaner Preserve and Ecocenter. I thought we would really enjoy the exhibit ...

After dinner we did our first decent grocery shop at the local Walmart, stocking up on candy for the car, breakfast and lunch items as well as pillows and an esky. By the time we got home it was about 10pm. I did some washing and Dan reorganised the car. After a quick spa, we fell into bed close to midnight. Can't wait to reach Yellowstone so we can slow down a bit.

... to strike out for downtown Salt Lake City and see what we could see. After doing a little bit of research (obviously very little), we punched an address into the GPS, scouted out the location, found a free parking space and headed to the visitor's center. Joi went up to the woman in the booth and asked for any information for some out-of-town travelers interested in downtown Utah...uh, ...

The pool is 10 feet deep and the bubbles not only make for a softer landing, but keep the athletes from hitting bottom. While we watched the athletes, Roxie enjoyed watching all the ground squirrels and chipmunks :)

From there we went on a semi-sorta wheeled luge ride. Each ...
