Aloha, I apologize for not blogging the past few days but there has been low activity in which could be placed into one blog....   10/18/14 We were still in Hana and experienced the storm winds the night before leaving me very tired on this day because I stayed up late making sure we would not need to hide in the bathroom during the wee hours while everyone else were blown away in their sleep. So on this day all state parks were closed and we were like ...

After unpacking and showering I ...

People have been killed there as they forget the pool is ruled by the tides and waves can come over the top, sweeping them out to sea. I carried on walking round the Makai Golf course and back to Liholiho Road, then Honoiki Road and home.

5.30pm and I headed in to Hanalei. After a quick stop at the supermarket, I parked up at Black ...

... another litre of coconut water when I got in from the pool. Think I'm getting addicted to it. Need to go for more supplies tomorrow.

The Maui Jim's are a definite hit. Throw your old sunglasses away and get a pair! My Versace's will be going on ebay when I get home. I've heard people rave about Maui Jim's and rightly so. They are poleroid 2's and bring colours to life. This place is gorgeous but looks even more colourful now. There's no glare at all, they are so lightweight ...
