That is pretty much our life at Tilmouth Well. I have been into Alice Springs twice on the truck, which goes in every wednesday to pick up our supplies and then drives them all back. We all help to unload the truck when it arrives, whether we are on shift or not.

Alice Springs has an average annual rainfall of 280mm. The variation from one year to another can be very large, but we have had more than 180mm since we arrived and 120 of that in the last week and it is still raining. This rainband that we are sharing with home is quite phenomenal.
