... wait for parts… then ramble our way slowly toward Madrid. Once we have our Saudi visas, we will probably store the van somewhere near Madrid and fly on down to Arabia for a couple of weeks before returning to Spain and continuing our Iberian adventure.

Climbing in Siurana Part 2
... attempted climbs. We warmed up, climbing in the sun and perfect weather. Did an amazing, technical 7a, and tried the two 7b+/5.12c routes we had already attemped. I managed to send (climb without falling) one and Matthieu the other, so between the two of us we did them both! We each almost sent the other as well, falling once each... c'est la vie. Beautfiul orange vertical limestone set amongst green rolling hills.

Climbing in Siurana Part 1
Flew from Madrid back to Barcelona and was met at the Airport by Matthieu and friends Julien, Maria, Sam, and Werner. We drove from Barcelona south and then west to the small village of Siurana, home to one campground and miles and miles of remote limestone rock faces.
Siurana is world famous sport climbing, and the style is slightly overhanging faces with pockets and small edges for your hands ...

Tecla Tapa - now there's a nice idea. There's a marquee set up for the duration of the festival not far from Rambla Vella and that's where Tecla Tapa has its home. Tables are set up around the edge and various organisations and companies set up stalls that sell a variety of burgers, sandwiches, baked potatoes and other food at reasonable prices.
