Today is the first day of class, which at first was kind of hectic because I didn't realize that there was a meeting instead of actual classes for incoming students in the arts faculty, but thankfully I was not alone in this boat, and got to meet a few more people. Her olive oil has won many awards including a couple of gold medals. She was a lovely women who was full of life and very generous as she provided a beautiful selection of meat, cheese, terrine and bread to go with the tasting. We then headed out for a walk along a ring route around the village, past the old ...

... 30 minutes - I felt better after some cold water and sitting under the air conditioning on the bus. We were taken to the monastery of Santa Maria de Poblet. The tour was fantastic - so much to see and learn. We got to look through the whole complex which was both very interesting and beautiful. For dinner this evening we went to 'Fonda' a local restaurant to experience an authentic Catalan dinner. Our hosts Carlos and Carma were very generous hosts, both with ...
