... at 4 pm, just as we arrived, but we still walked around a bit. There was a primary block building of three stories, in which the colony lived, and some very plain wooden outbuildings for the farm and communal activity center. Apparently sex was verboten, and so the colony would adopt young people from various orphanages in order to repopulate. I guess that really didn't work out for them, and they disbanded in the early 20th C.

... Nelligan's and headed by car for a drive down to the Eastern Townships. A very scenic 120 km drive through wooded countryside with beautiful weatherboard houses being a highlight. It became very obvious that French was the preferred language and if not for Teresa's bilingual skills we would have struggled a lot. Even the road signs are in French so lucky we were not driving. ... Southern Utah and Northern Arizona with broken clouds. I manage to capture pictures of the area that we had previously driven over. Once we cross the Rockies I put my camera away and try to catch some sleep for the rest of the flight.

Finally - HOME. Time to unpack, do the laundry and then rest.
