Welcome to Australia. It's pretty ace.
... lovely. We walked under the bridge, and through the Opera House, we then went into town and tucked into a smashing caesar salad (pushing the boat out here). The Sydney Bridge is a pretty spectacular piece of architecture and until then I really don't think you can get your head round how bloody big it is. It is massive. Also, I know Sydney Opera House design was supposed to reflect sails, but it really does look like two scarab beetles. Sorry, just saying. Still ...
The Great, Great Ocean Road - Day 2
I got up really early as I wanted to make the most of today and fit in as much as possible before the drive home.
I left the hostel around 7.15 am and headed west as far as Peterborough where there were more amazing sights to see. The first place I stopped was called the Bay of Islands. Blown Away
Literally, I mean I could have been blown away today. We had over 125 km winds and horizontal rain. I felt like I was back in England today!
Doesn't stop me going out though.
I met up with my friend Lone today as she was leaving Melbourne this evening and we won't see each other again as she is going back to Sydney before heading off to Asia. Have a fab time Lone. Gonna miss you!

You have to seek out the back alleyways as they hold hidden treasures and the modern graffiti on the walls is amazing. Some people would see this as vandelism, but this is art here. ...
Living the Dream
I was going back to the mainland today so didn't have much time explore Phillip Island as I had to catch the bus back. It is an Island but there is a bridge built at the east side of the Island so you can get there without having to sail! The downside is that the bus journey takes 3 hrs!
The bus was leaving at 2 pm so I decided to take a long walk along the beach. It was a lovely walk as it was quite breezy but ...
