... there were a lot of English accents among the crowds (especially students). This is where I was reminded that I was still in Britain.

I wish I could have ventured out and visited other, more rural, parts of Scotland, but unfortunately I just didn't have enough time. Maybe some day I will go back and get the chance to learn more about Scottish culture which is, after all, part of my own heritage!

... were a good idea . . . and pretty good. In the evening most of our group went to a Ghosts and Ghouls tour. Learnt a bit about the history of the city, and wandered through underground passageways, but were not actually scared like we were meant to be (thank goodness).
