The surrounding estuaries and tidal lagoons team with lovely wildlife and the town itself is home to the Museum of Bizarre which Bella and Freddie loved. See pictures. Next brief stop Williamsburg ...

We woke in the knowledge that England had dismissed Australia for 130 odd runs, then sat and listened as England lost wicket after wicket. Enough of that for now, it's too stressful. Crash into a motel in Plymouth NC, not much here, just resting there before heading further North next day.

Unfortunately for us it was just tipping 100 deg F when we visited so not ideal conditions for walking. We did a drive by of a number of the buildings though. We visited Hammocks Beach State Park. Early in the 20th century this land was owned by a wealthy New York doctor ...

... of the most social and party happy neighborhoods in South Carolina
has taken me a few years to adjust to. There seems to be a gathering
for just about anything. Lets see, birthdays, holidays, anniversary,
it's Friday, hey it's Tuesday or maybe even our recycle bin is only
half full seems to be all it takes for a gathering to get started
around here. The 3 hour rule has been my savior each and every time,
good or bad. I have enlightened people of this rule ...
