Yesterday we arrived in a very sleepy little town by the edge of another large lake. Our aim was to catch a boat cruise down to the coast, see some turtles and return to Koycegiz. There was nothing much happening in the town, apart from the various political parties blasting music from their vans as they tried to outdo each other! So this morning ...

We had another swim (and a body surf!) at the river mouth before a beautiful lunch and a memorable visit to the thermal baths. The ritual was: step into the mud pool, extract a huge pile of ...

Our last breakfast. The waiter Buddy was back from his break so though we said we would see him at lunch we knew we probably would not. He would only be upset when we did not give him a tip. He was OK always a friendly welcome but his table saving antics were a bit OTT. We wandered around the town a bit, Barry got another Turkish shave, but not such a good one as the first who was too busy. We bought some Turkish delight for work and for Joanne ...
