    We started the day somewhat slower today. We headed down to the La Rambla to the marina to visit the Columbus Monument. It was constructed in honour of CC and serves as a reminder that Columbus reported to Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand V after his first trip to the new continent.     Flight is booked for barcelona at 5:20pm flights were $60 each plus baggage which ended up being about $120. Train from salerno to rome- 3 hours Train from rome to airport- 30 mins Flight- 2 hours Shuttle to barcelona city- 40 mins WE ARE WRECKED!!!!     ... street in Barcelona. We quickly found a really cool, modern restaurant called Cer el Cle which was up on this large terrace. It was beautiful and the atmosphere was so cool. My mom and I just people watched and listened to all the different languages around us. We had Jamon again *Spain's most famous dish*, a mozzarella and tomato salad, and Paella! So delicious.
    First day in Spain was a success, and I can't wait for more adventures!
