Let me start by saying that Mallorca is absolutely beautiful. I would definitely recommend to all.
We started off the weekend up north in Porta de Pollensa and stayed in a super nice villa. We cooked for ourselves, walked into town and soaked up some sun by the pool. The town was nice, nothing special. It's full of british people, I guess it's a big vacation/retirement spot for them. It was quiet, but that's because we were there on the off season. It will be packed ...

... street over from the guest house. It was a family-owned shop with a very sweet hausfrau running the place. It brought back memories of family. On day two, I went and picked up two incredibly scrumptious deserts, including this giant to-die-for lemon tart. Yum!

Inspired by music and creativity enhanced with liquids we chase the blue light for that last perfect photo and close the night back at the wine bar..this time for wine accompanied by grilled asparagus, my new favorite "appy", and an arugula salad. Can't describe much about the food...but oh the wine!!!

All in a days work.

... is some of the best wine I have tasted on our
entire trip! Plus, the owner takes pride in connecting wine with art...right up my alley!

Loaded, as in our bikes fully loaded, we turn towards Palma. The weight of my paniers wiggle with wine...I giggle, also with wine! I reflect on my accomplishments, my pure satisfaction of completing a tour through Portugal and Spain, on a bike! I can't help but think how lucky I am...
