    I can still taste your baked eggplant, fresh sausages, rooster in cinnamon red sauce, potato and garlic puree, rice stuffed tomatoes and zucchini flowers, stuffed squid, grilled sardines, okra and green beans in tomato sauce, and even those fresh cut potatoes ...

    Woke up to see land not far off and these were the islands of Kallinfa and Zakynthos . Arrived at Katakolon at 11.00am on a perfect morning. Katakolon was developed in the 19 century as the main export area for currants. It was also the site of Greeces first rail track which linked it with Pyrgos.
