    I set the alarm this morning as I didn’t want to miss the view as the ship passed the first of the Greek Islands. It was a little disappointing as we were close enough to see that they were islands, but too far away for anything else of value.

    ... 3 each. The coffee was very”grainy” and sweet, even though I said no sugar. It is very hot by now 38C I would say. At 1-30 we set off by coach for an afternoon tour.Our guide was called Stadi a very pleasant lady, who told us that the area has plenty of subterrannean water which is essential for them to grow olives,tomatoes & grapes.     ... hour from 11-12. There, we met a very nice lady named Sue from Australia. Sue was traveling with her boyfriend. They had both retired and sold their businesses. The week before, they'd taken a cruise to the South Pacific, then our cruise. After their 22 days, they were going to Santorini for a week, Mykonos for a week, and Dubai for 4 days. What a life!     ... much tastier than those in Aus, and we found it easy to just eat them like you would eat fruit. The tomatoes were picked in the morning by their grandfather...they were delicious ....we have never eaten so many tomatoes since visiting Greece. Finished off with homemade grape and cinnamon biscuits and their liqueur ( very high proof).
