    I started 8th since I had the second worst qualifying time of our group. We all start in race fashion with a pace lap and then the green flag drops and off we go. As you drive you can hear your spotter telling you to take a certain line to avoid a spinning car, or for some other reason. I narrowly avoided a couple of wrecks and nearly got sandwiched by two cars when the race started.

    ... walking Thursday night we saw two couples and yesterday we saw someone walking a dog but other than that it was almost a ghost campground. Jerry said he thought part of that could be caused by the fact that there are so many park models meaning permanent people. Still it was a nice campground centrally located and we would definitely go back again. It had a nice pool but we didn't take advantage of that.

    ... closed for a team meeting, so we went over to the Nationwide, and Sprint Cup shops, and then came back to the truck shop later.
