Well after frantically getting the house in order, working an extra day at work, we finally are at the airport. Only to realize that I forgot my camera! Then the plane is delayed to fix the A/C. We met Don and Trish for great brunch along side Lake Norman. While on the road we decided that we weren't quite ready to go home ...

Now off to pack my beach clothes and scuba gears, and make sure I don't have anything that will spoil in my house!

... with us, but it was weird, different., I can't explain it.

-My niece and sister and I all stayed the night - the first time all three of us did a night shift together. My mom went to bed in her makeshift cot in the family room beside my dad. And sometime in the morning before the sun came up, he passed. My mom woke us - she had woken up and he was gone. And so, 79 years of life, 55 years of marriage, 3 kids, 6 grandchildren, fame, fortune, friends and family and ...
