I left Methoni on the 8.30 am bus which took me as far as Isthmus. You can't buy the ticket at Methoni so must make a quick exit at Pylos to the ticket office at the bus stop, or buy in advance of course.
This time the trip was via Kalamata where there was a short and very welcome break before the trip on to Tripolis and Isthmus.

Following the weekend on Paros, I was keen to check out another Greek island. We decided to take the ferry to Aegina, the nearest island to Athens.
Just boarding the ferry was quite an experience, standing right by the water waiting for the inevitably late boat and then being crushed in the stampede to get on board. Following my previous experiences of Greek ferries I knew we had to find seats quickly!

Mas o que o prejudica muito - creio que todos os hoteis devem passar por este apuro -: năo tem estacionamento. E a rua é super estreita e passa carro a cada segundo. Ou seja, nem para tirar as malas do carro vocę consegue parar. Uma loucura... No final, Marco me deixou com as malas na calçada e saiu correndo procurar um lugar. Desagradável. Mas enfim... acabou ...
