... So we've watched 'Oranges and Sunshine', about the enforced deportation of UK children in the '50's and 60's to Oz, and 'The Killing Fields' to give them some background to Cambodia. We've also got out 'Ghandi' in preparation for India! Rox intimated she'd seen it and that it was very sad, 'cos he gets shot at the end.....eventually we worked out she was talking about 'Bambi'. Today we are having our excursion in the morning. We were told to check out the Eumundi Market. This takes place on Saturday morning. So off we went. This time we used the GPS in the car to get us there. When we arrived we found that it was very popular, there was no parking. We finally found a parking spot a ways away and walked back. It was quite a large market with lots of arts and crafts, food ...
... you all! I hear summer is coming to an end over there! We are just approaching spring! Can't wait!! :) But I will miss the fall colours and snow at Christmas!!

It must be time to consider heading home. We woke to a heavily overcast day and it's stayed that way all day. Not a breath of wind, with the temperature hovering around 21C. After breakfast we headed to Hastings Street for one final look at the beach while enjoying a mid-morning coffee / freshly squeezed pineapple and mint juice. ... super quite here. Kennie has started to do crossword puzzles and we play a lot of Quiddler ! I have tried to read my book (about the 100 year old man who escapes from the retirement village) several times but keep getting interrupted by Kennie asking crossword clues.
The weather has been excellent and we totally love the Van and are completely happy with our choice despite the teething problems with electronics.
