      ... for a walk to see the beach as it wasn’t raining, so got everything together and wandered down the esplanade. There were loads of people on the beach, so went and dipped our feet in, it was cold!
      Sat on a bench for a bit, then the sun came out and it was boiling, had a look at the clouds and it looked good for the day. Headed back to the hostel so we could put sun lotion on and get our towels.

      ... of 4 cars had to get out and help push/dig mud away from the cars tyres.. That still didn't work so a snatch recovery had to be done by the guide. Good to watch from afar! Another snatch recovery happened the next day on quick sand, when one of the cars two front wheels sank so much they couldn't be seen. The snatch rope snapped but luckily a big car was driving past with a metal snatch and that pulled it out! We were on a ...

      We woke around half 9 this morning, it was fairly miserable outside. It was still up to temperatures of 17 degrees but it was wet and it felt cold. (Must be our bodies adapting to the tropical climate) Today was one of the quietest days we have had yet, being restricted because of the showers, apart from an hour out to visit the Civic we pretty much chilled out in the house.
