... through her math and sticker books. We will start boarding the plane in about 30 minutes. Qantas QF11. An A380 that we will be on for the next 13 and a half hours. Hope it has good movies and lots of room. Today will be a long day. Timezone differences mean we actually get off the plane before we get on it. We take off at 1.05pm on Saturday 14th June and land at 9.35am on the same day. Let the fun ...

... br> Flight was uneventful, except for Isabel waking up and crying about sore legs??? she normally does this after a big day on her legs, not sitting down. Took about 20 mins to sort that one out.

... the appropriate checkbox noting we were 'travelling with a bike'. We'd arrived early (as suggested by Qantas) to facilitate purchasing the Qantas provided bike box which Qantas insist bikes should be shipped in. What I hadn't anticipated was that the Qantas Oversize Baggage Counter from where one purchases said bike box isn't staffed until 6:00am, a little inconvenient given our scheduled departure was 6:00am.
