... that I wanted to leave my free month nostly unplanned, the big things were done. I relaxed.
I relaxed too much. I ended up shopping, packing and organising everything except Eurail (only done a week earlier) in the 2 days I gave myself off of work before I left. Oops. It got done, but only because I knew what I was doing and my friends had made helpful recommendations ...
... to where we were going so back we went. We dropped off the caravan and spent the rest of the day around the shopping centres trying to keep Mia entertained and happy. It was a long day. Finally we for the call to say that we could pick up the caravan. The fridges cooling unit was broken therefore wasn't cooling. But if course they couldn't get a part for 2.5 weeks and wouldn't be able to fit it until after June......hmmm not very good.
... and felt as if we had a glimpse of a different slice of Australian life. Adelaide's streets were lined with rose filled gardens and houses with a Victorian air about them. The art gallery had a collection of Australian Impressionist work intermingled with modern, scratch your head "I wonder what that's supposed to be" stuff. This leg of our Aussie journey was a smorgasbord of sights and experiences.
Sydney was next.

On route to the we stopped in Robe and Apollo Bay, a both tiny little towns in the middle of just about nowhere which make farnborough look like a metropolitan city.. and a salty dried up lake which was so white the pictures really don't do it justice.
