... The walk was advised as 2.5 hours, however no one warned us of the terrain. Typical us headed for this trek in our havi's, about 20 mins in we realized what a mistake it was not to wear trainers like everyone else walking by... It was rocky and wet slushy mud most of the way up and down hill, we were slipping all over the place in this woodland - absolute muppets. Anyway it was worth ...

Jenny is sporting her new bikini which we bought after a few beers with Hector, Freddy and the Norwegian girls....lets just say it's a little smaller than a bikini she would have bought if A) we were not in Brazil and B) if we were not drunk. Haha! So we head back to that beach the next day ...

... fajitas with nachos, salsa and guacamole will certainly make a nice change from the cheese and bread I seem to have survived on in Rio.

We enjoyed our meal and caprinihas and after setting off at what we thought was a reasonable Brazilian time for a beach party (11.30pm) made our way to Jabaquara beach. We arrived to find a bonfire, music and bar on the beach but only 5 people!!! We joined for a drink or so and stayed a while but as no one else joined we resigned to ...
