Central Park, Split Style

... accommodation. The Island apparently boasts one of the worlds top ten beaches. The beach was nice but nothing on the Esperance Beaches. I guess it is in the eye of the beholder.

... to another beach for an hour, then I was just beat tired so now we grabbed a slice of pizza and are chilling in the hostel for the night relaxing. ... it was still beautiful in it's rugged way. The water was clear and the weather perfect.
For lunch we wandered back into Split town and had an awesome pizza margharetta on the waterfront. In the afternoon we saw some more of the old town, admiring the Roman ruins and medieval fortress. We had a few drinks, kept going from bar to bar trying to find a decent wine list, we failed but got quite ******. They charge the earth for the good stuff and put ice in the **** ones! ...
