I'd come this far, so I had to check out one of the big reasons Romania is famous in the west (besides the gypsies). About two hours north of Bucharest lie the Carpathian mountains and Transylvania. ... Ioana and Dudu) glided around effortlessly. Suffice to say I can feel the ice even today (read: I fell over a lot and bruised).
