In the evening we met our Czech hosts at the Astronomical clock in Old Town. gthey led us to a restaurzant on th outskirts of downtown - Kolkovna - for hours of conversation and dinner (awe some goulash ).

We've reached the final curtain
And now the end is near. Today is the day of the mighty split... Alex goes to Berlin, and I go back to Frankfurt for the night to fly home tomorrow.. It is really surreal that we have been gone for 35 days, and seen so much, and done so many different things! The people along the way have also been awesome!

Lost in Prague
... down in a nearby café for a coffee and what turned out to be a notably good Snickers Torte. Before long a man at the table opposite mine spoke to me in German, I told him (in German) that I didn't speak German and he changed to English. We spent the next hour having a great time talking about our families, counties, the weather and respective relationships. It was nice to have someone to chat to after a few days filled ...
A look at Eastern Europe.....
... and legs hurt, but was still happy from my experience on the Segway tours.
When I got back to the room, I found that it was just too quiet without a TV or some form of “noise”. For the first time on this trip, I connected my portable sound system which consists of an iPod Touch and a pair of Tweakers speakers. Listening to some Tony Bennet and Diana Krall tunes made all the difference, and the atmosphere in the room was SO much nicer!

Things are looking up in Prague
... here, it is not keeping away the droves of people from all over the world. From the square, we walked over to the subway station and tram stop for the #22 tram to take us up the hill to Prague Castle (Presky Hrad, loosely translated and taking liberties I am sure with spelling). Mom had made a 2pm hair appointment, so we were on a tight schedule!
