    Sun... Again!

    I think the weather gods knew Zoe was coming because we had a **** summer until a couple of days before she arrived in Sweden and after that it's been amazing weather, although a little bit dry which has resulted in flash flooding and as of late... Sweden's first bush fire that is still going strong.

    ... 12-hrs recommended!). The food was so good! We had some kind of bread cup filled with meat, fish, some type of sweet gravy, and who knows what because I couldn't read the menu. I felt like I was at Denny's pointing at the pictures on the menu except there were no pictures, only American letters arranged in Danish fashion.

    Kim enjoyed a nice bath while I did some calisthenics in our hotel room. From the walking to the biking to the lunges I was in for some soar ...

    So that was yesterday. Today I'm in the lab a bit but I did manage a quick trip to Botaniska Trädgården, the Botanical Garden in Lund. It was lovely. And for everyone who has been asking where all the people are: apparently they are all here soaking up the sun!

    The free walking tour was lots of fun, the tour guide was very informative and knew what she was talking about. Some of the highlights of the tour were looking around the Town Hall Square, one of the centres of activity for Copenhageners, including the Lur Blowers, looking at Tivoli Gardens (from the outside) and the start of Strøget, the walking street, walking down the small cobble-stoned streets ...

    ... the game, we were all bussed to our New Year's Eve party. CANADA's win certainly put everyone in a party mood. Again, we had a fabulous dinner, an excellent band (from Kitchener) provided the music and at about 11:45 pm, we were all treated to an awesome fireworks display.
