... s Irish Pub. We walked partway over to Bar Harbor Island and around town for a little bit. We headed out to the Atlantic Brewing Company then back to the hotel for a little swimming for the kids. George and I went into town for a few groceries (and beer) then me, Dad, Ash, Sky and Jake went on a sunset nature watch cruise where we saw three bald eagles (including ...

And can you believe we had room for a slice of Maine blueberry pie for dessert? Oh my gosh, we had to roll ourselves out of there and were in food heaven the rest of the evening.

Feeling somewhat guilty about the indulgences from the night before, we decided to hike the 4.5 mile hike to the peak of Cadillac ...

... Vanderbilts, etcetera, built their summer "homes" here. Now, it's hoi poloi heaven, as well as The Others, still. We toured the town on Sunday, along with two cruise ship loads of gawkers. But it was sunny and wonderful just the same. It is a cool and quaint little town, full of restaurants, all featuring "lobstah." Big bucks for not much flavor. Rather underwhelmed am I. We toured the island today and this place just replicates the ...
