... no red or yellow pigment. The arrival of autumn was evidenced by the changing colors of the leaves and the lone tiny crab apples hanging from the bare branches of the tree. We enjoyed a crisp sunny day in this charming town. We missed the rain of yesterday which was fine by us. You'll have to wait no longer for photos of the Regatta because we took many today. At sunset, we said "goodbye" to Bar Harbor and continued our journey south with Boston being the port-of-call for ...

... a few excursion, one in Charlottetown and 1 in Sydney. But more about them later. Should be fun. Finally made it to the gym. Ran my 5km then did some weights and gave my body a good stretch and a roll. Then the boring shower time and now I'm sitting out in the deck writing this. But it's kinda cold in the breeze so as soon as I'm done I'm going to find somewhere warmer. And a cup of tea. ...... I got my tea, 2 cups actually. I had my tea out by ...

... are other walking trails in this portion of the park. I started on the Ship Harbor walk, but the sign a little ways in said "Now entering the back country" and had no indication of how long the trail was. Being by myself, I turned around as I was not prepared for back country hiking! You do drive across a natural seawall if you enter off route 102A and it is a very pretty area and probably a nice place to watch ...
