We will definitely stay here again, the staff were really helpful and the location is ideal in a quite road, close to train station, tram, restaurants and shops. We needed a two bedroom unit and they gave us two single units interconnected, both with kitchens and showers, quite a bonus.
Thanks to all Abacus staff.

All the guys looked really tough with tattoos all over and basketball caps, the basic ozzie look, but they were all very friendly and the atmosphere was really good, as if everyone knew each other. We immediately felt part of the ...

... was shown on TV and I felt that the city really takes care of its visitors. In the tram I sat down next to an older lady and she was very nice. As she did a world trip some years ago, she gave me a lot of useful tips for the city and I was very glad about that. The best was that she accompanied me and two other girls to the XBase backpacker and waited until we all checked in. Yes, this is really a warm welcome! After checking in I went to Woolworth, ...

... a nap then went for a walk around the waterfront, which is surrounded by tall buildings and skyscrapers, fire-spouting metal blocks and a scattering of restaurants and bars.

The next day was our standard city tour day. We went on a nice long walk around the centre, viewing sights like Federation Square, St Paul’s Cathedral and Victoria Station. Lottie arrived in the evening from Perth to the usual welcome from our hostel of having to pointlessly wait around; ...
