Day 17 - We woke up early to go get a bus to drop us off at the pickup place for the day tour. We went on a shuttle bus from there and the first place we went to was the famous Wall Street. We saw the bull along the street conecting with Wall Street and continued on from there. The next thing we did was go on a boat tour along the Hudson River. It was significantly cheaper to take the train to NYC, but I thought it would also be a nice scenic journey also, but after a while (actually, after day 1 Chicago), all the snow covered fields ...

... had been expecting something a lot bigger but there was only room enough for about 3 people at a time to peer out through the Perspex past her torch for views over the bay. Still very cool to see and some incredible views to be had and easy to see why she is such an important symbol of freedom to Americans and inspires locals and visitors alike.

Our next stop was Ground Zero, the site of the former Twin Towers on which had been built two enormous water features with the ...
