Today in this area there are organized Farm Tours. Any of the small producers that are willing to give tours and host guests put their names on the program. They were scheduled to be from 10-6 but we knew that would be too long a day for Porter so we made plans to go about noon. Last night we decided to treat ourselves to a fire...unfortunately Antek and the fire did not get along. After a few hilarious attempts to get it going, he reached for his white gas (our cooking fuel) and immediately regretted it as half his forearm hair was burnt off. Let's just say- Fire= 3, Antek =0. Today's cycle started with a trail through the forest but as Antek nearly dented his front wheel on a tree root, we decided walking ...

... night anchored in Neah Bay. During the night the wind was gusting to 25 mph. We spent about an hour (at 2:30 AM) sitting in the pilot house watching our GPS to be sure our anchor held during the blow. We were fine, but didn't get much sleep.

Monday we had a smooth ride from Neah Bay to Port Angeles, WA. Spending the night here and heading north tomorrow. We are looking forward to a good night's sleep at the dock tonight. ...

... We vonden een Best Western tegen een redelijke prijs niet ver van Boeing. Na het eten (Mc Donalds voor een keer..) hebben we nog even door Best Buy, Macy's en de Wal-Mart gestruind..en toen op naar het hotel om te genieten van een welverdiende nachtrust. Het hotel bleek al aardig vol te zitten, dit zal zeker te maken hebben met het weekend en het mooie weer, dus veel gezinnen!
