... warm croissants that have a slight lemon flavor. We shoveled down our breakfast and cappuccino very quickly and headed out for the Metro by 7:20. Today we found it without getting lost (hurray). We are quickly become Roma Metro experts by learning how to fit your body space in the equivalent of a human sardine can. But it is so much quicker than taking a bus across town. We made it to the Cipro station and walked to meet our guide but not without ...

We were both tired and needed a nap. We found some place for lunch and headed back to the hotel. Two hours later, we were up and going to do some shopping for Kim. She has a bet with another friend who is coming to Italy on who can come back with the cutest shoes. Not a bet I would make! Mine would ...

... walking home when the first group of Lamborghini roared by. I knew that they would be arriving at a famous plaza in Rome today but hadn't given it much more thought. Well, it seems like the famous piazza was St Peters so since we were right there, well almost, we headed after them. They were not fast as the traffic in Rome is a bit nuts. We have some wonderful pictures including a Lamborghini police car. I wonder how long you have to be in the force ...
