We are back at the AKA. Our fifth visit. Another great room, although different to last time. There's a new gym, new lounge area but our friends from our past five visits staffing the front door and desk. It's great to be back.

Superbe appartement dans une rue agréable, tout près de Times Square et Broadway. Personnel très aimable et serviable.
Petit bémol, la vaisselle est réduite à son strict minimum.

After what seemed like an eternity, well maybe 28 hours, we made it to out home away from home, the AKA, in NYC.

Just off Times Square, this little piece of bliss away from the hustle and bustle is perfect. We made it to our room at around 1.30am and pretty much collapsed into bed. 30 nights of NYC ahead of us. Let the adventure begin, …

Friday night was fun and Saturday spent doing a variety of things, mostly nothing. Shopping, a little meandering and generally soaking up NYC. The 911 memorial and museum was visited by few and from all accounts awesome. Dinner at Mortons last night and a couple of photos attached. We have now officially started the handbag category for each blog. …

Great for doing times tables, games of hang man and also doodling. ... I checked into my room with the concierge at the desk and then he gave my key card for my room. I was on the 29th floor (6 below the top floor) which has a beautiful view from just the hall and I wasn't even in the room yet. From the moment I entered the room, I was simply blown away! The design and creativity was stunning and I was so impressed! A comfortable bed, TV, spacious bathroom including a shower and a spa bath, a balcony ...

She immediately picked up the phone and spoke to someone saying, "Ms Venning is unsuitable for exit row, so please downgrade her". Oh No, I couldn't believe it. I really needed that seat. Why did I speak up. What I would do in that situation at work would be to move someone else into the exit row and reallocate ...
