Fabulous Apartments

Stayed for 9 nights in a fabulous apartment on the 4th floor. Two bedrooms, lots of space and very well furnished. Transport by bus or metro is very handy. The neighbourhood is absorbing. Michael, the host, is very friendly and welcoming. A bargain at the price. Will stay again and highly recommend.

... of nice features to it. The first was the glass roof on the elevator which allowed us to experience both the speed with which we were travelling, and the sheer height of the building. The second was that above the main observation deck was a platform which allowed 360 degree panoramic views of the city, unobstructed by bars or windows. It was from here we managed to take some incredible pictures of the skyline.

... would be some new and light(ish) Chinese for me to take to the apartment. He said I should try soup dumplings. I stopped at my favorite Tea Time and then had no trouble finding the soup dumplings for later. So good! I definitely had enough Chinese to last me for a while, but the whole trip was everything (and more) that I had hoped for.

To the airport on Tuesday and headed South. Next!!

... chat over the microphone. We had a nice couple of nights in Philadelphia. The first night we both had to put a wash on so we actually had some clothes to wear, so we didn't venture out far. But luckily we were in the middle of the bar and restaurant district (albeit down a side street that looked a bit dodgy at first, but turned out to be alright in the end!). After a spot of dinner and a couple of drinks we were both pretty tired, so went back to ...
