We are home!

A travel blog entry by bwmuzik

We got home Wednesday afternoon (7/22/09), one day shy of being gone 8 weeks. We went 9,660 miles. Fred & Evelyn were great traveling companions.
We hope you all enjoyed the stories and pictures of our trip to Alaska. I can't wait to scrapbook all of our pictures and re-live our great adventure.
Traveling is wonderful but there is no place like home!

In the evening we went to the posh part of town, La Jolla (Hoya not Joller as I embarrassed myself) where we enjoyed drinks and dinner whilst listening to a hugely talented musician called James Speer (I highly recommend checking him out on YouTube) whilst looking out over the bay - bliss. Shame we couldn't stay longer at the town because I'm sure it has so much more to offer. Maybe next time. ...

... toast. scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, coffee and a large hot cinnamon roll. We had so much food. We rolled out of Harrys and headed to Walmart to pick up our last minute items.

Our last stop was Coronado Island. It is one long high bridge to get there and I hate driving on bridges. We headed to the Coronado Hotel. We missed the Coronado Hotel because I was in the ...
