We got home Wednesday afternoon (7/22/09), one day shy of being gone 8 weeks. We went 9,660 miles. Fred & Evelyn were great traveling companions.
We hope you all enjoyed the stories and pictures of our trip to Alaska. I can't wait to scrapbook all of our pictures and re-live our great adventure.
Traveling is wonderful but there is no place like home!

... to our first show and grabbed a 'Chocolate Dave' Ice Cream and watched the Blue Horizons Show(which Jack videoed). After the show we went to see the Shamu Show.
We then went round the park and saw Seals and Sealions, Sea Turtles, Dolphins at Dolphin Point and some Otters.
We then had a Giant Turkey Leg which Jack and Dad shared and which Jack said was as big as a baby leg!

... directing us to the park I started getting excited. As soon as you turn into Legoland Drive you start seeing Lego models on the edges of the driveway. We got a car park and made our way into the park. My dream had come true I had made it to Legoland. Straight away we made our way to the minilands, these are some famous cities made out of Lego. The cities include Washington DC; San Francisco; Las Vegas; New York and Hollywood. You can tell ...
... excavation project. Dire Wolves were the most common large mammal recovered (about 4,000 individuals) and sabre-toothed cats were the second most common (around 2,000). Had we had time - I would have visited the La Brea Tar Pits as well as the zoo!
There were other fossils found in places other that the tar pits. Check out the pics for a few examples :)
Las thing to do in LA is see 360 at the Viper Room - then off to Vegas!
