... I need gas - not so on this segment - fuel for the driver was the reason to stop. I have a camel-back water sack which holds about a quart of water. It would last about 1 hour if I rationed it a little. The problem with rationing it was that the last half was like drinking bath water. Somehow we managed to string two hours driving down to San Diego into a two day trip ha ha! We stopped at Long Beach, which is a really nice beach, we then stopped at Newport Beach, Orange County, which most of you would associate with the OC, although it was actually filmed in Malibu and Redondo Beach (I googled it) We carried on to Encinitas, where we were staying for the night and stopped at Huntington Beach and Laguna beach, both were really nice places and the houses ...
