... We headed for the repair shop at 7:30 AM, Sini following in the Jimmy, as the shop opened up at 8:00. They had a few other jobs to take care of first but were able to start troubleshooting our problem around 8:30. It was going to take a while so this was a good time for us to run some errands and have breakfast at the Garden Café, which came highly recommended by Tank and Doreen. I had delicious eggs, local spicy sausage, and homemade blueberry muffin ...
... each which was a good deal. We watched a movie in the theater after supper, The Tailor of Panama with Pierce Brosnan, Geoffrey Rush and Jamie Lee Curtis, it was OK but it was not a movie for everyone.
The ship had setup a Panama Promenade Party on deck 8 starting at 9pm with more food and music, lots of fun. At 11pm in the showroom the Indonesian Crew put on a show showcasing their culture of music and dance, it was great.

... aircraft carrier built in 1945. It is huge - 45000 tons. We learned all kinds of facts about it. It could go 33 knots which is fast enough to pull a water skier. Imagine that! We also learned that showers for sailors would only last about two minutes. And, if you were sent to the brig, you would only get bread and water! I LOVED sitting in the planes and helicopters. My mom got super excited about seeing the plane that was featured ...

We caught a cab to the airport and boarded our flight which left at 10.50am. We arrived at our first stop in Puebla at around 1pm. The airport was the smallest I had ever been to. It was only one room with one gate. There was a cafe and wi fi so we had something to eat and entertained ourselves for the 2 hr layover.
