It's Mother's Day. I've just spent the morning on the boardwalk having breakfast with my friend and our children. While they all ran off to play on the beach in their Sunday bests, the two of us chatted over coffee, then green tea, then a second breakfast of the kids leftover pancakes (which were to die for). We were in the zone. But then, for Veronika and I, that is ...

Volunteer dune work day again today - this time at another beach with 2 groups combined. We were met with a celebrity welcome as apparently we're front page news in the local rag which was delivered to homes this morning!! Rach and Rose were visiting Australia Zoo in the morning and Leila and I would join them on the greyhound bus to Brisbane. As our bus wasn't till the afternoon Leila and I treated ourselves to breakfast and got undercharge-win! Although a little cloudy we wondered down to the beach to sample the salty fresh air and blogged our little hearts ...

... golf and sitting at the surf club in Coolum having a beer, Charlene and I took the kids to the botanic gardens just across the lake from her place. We had fish and chips for lunch and the kids played on the playground for a bit. We were actually looking out at Charlene's place while we ate lunch! We then went for a bit of a wander round the gardens which were ...
