    ... and we called into the Kilkavin Primary School. Then the weather closed in as we travelled through Gympie and on to Noosa. All fun stops, the lunch stop organised in the park with the fire truck and the parade through Noosa were abandoned.

    ... some more Highway Wanderers who by the way all live in Hervey Bay for a fun filled lunch at the RSL apparently this is a Tuesday lunch special treat.

    While a Jacks place I restored the rolled over Ute to enable the big bloke to use it around the property. Along with fencing the new vegie garden just for Jill. Hang on I thought I retired some years back!!!!! Ah well in in the name of fun.

    ... beach, a cool beached
    shipwreck, coloured sand mounds, wild dingos, eagles and...a python!
    The day seemed to whizz by and we wished, now knowing what a cool
    island this is, that we had rented our own 4x4 and sent a few days
    driving round and camping at the sites dotted around; yet again,
    something else to come back to! A lovely sunset on the ferry back and
    we soon flopped into bed.

    ... of the best I've been to so far and the area was lovely. I wish I had a bit more time to have explored the town itself and gone up into the national parks and seen some of up there but it was nice to have seen the Everglades and done something different as opposed to walking to viewpoints all of the time! I think I've said my final goodbyes to David for my time out here and I'm currently enroute to rainbow beach, the gateway to Fraser Island! I wonder how this will go.. ...

    ... national park and did a short rainforest walk and saw some interesting parasitic trees, as well as escaping the blistering heat. We also took a short walk up to the boiling pot, a small hole in the rock at Noosa, where the sea rumbles around like boiling water in a pot.
