Good bye blighty...
Well, started writing this post on Saturday Evening... all packed and ready to go, guarantee I will repack about 10 times before we set off Tuesday, feel very much behind Barry who was so organised today! Now its Tuesday been to work (crazy I know), and repacked the hand luggage a couple of times pretty sure I have remembered everything, t-minus one hour until we leave for the airport! good bye for now all and we see you on t'other side of the world!

The Muzungu returns
Early start for the airport but still arrived later than planned due to weekday traffic in Lusaka. Got through the whole airport, checked in my bag, went through immigration, was fingerprinted, was scanned twice by the metal detector and still made it to the departure gate too early! The whole process couldn't have taken more than twenty minutes. Why do you have to check in three hours ahead in the UK? Are they just less efficient?

Arrival in Hounslow!

Last day on the Road
... Q and cooking an Indian Feast for dinner!
Jo and I cooked up a storm, with pilau rice, rogan josh, korma, naan bread, samosas, bajhi´s etc. as Andy Collins and Bec and Andy Wilson were coming over for our last night in England.
