      ... this time! Ours was not alone.. plenty of other "foreigners" had that look of relief as we exited out into the sea of locals awaiting their travellers..
      It is a busy but quick 40 minute taxi ride to our hotel.. the Tai Gu in Yuexiu district.. close to the Pearl river, shopping districts etc.. but that's for tomorow's story.
      The Tai Gu Business hotel is on the fourth floor only of a corporate building ..rooms spacious and beds ...

      ... turkey wandering around there. I'm not feeling well again this evening (probably because everyone is so grim, I actually saw a guy drop some mashed potato on to the dirty hostel kitchen floor and then pick it up and eat it today, and yesterday people were washing up without washing up liquid...) so I paint my toenails, have dinner and pack for tomorrow, and then call mum before i go to bed which is nice ...

      ... you have ever tasted.

      Local coffee shops spring up everywhere the place is jumping. Contestants clambering for the hundreds of pumpkins for sale at $3:00 to fire down the Policeman’s Hill trying land in a circle at the bottom never been done to date. Also the longest one. They close off the highway from 13:00 hrs Till 15:00 hrs to allow for this event.

      The event gets under way with some 800 people line up at the top of the hill in formation ...

      ... can't see the bottom. Everyone watching and laughing as we pussy foot in. After a little swim we get out and notice that as the watcer is very acidic our skin and hair is great. But strange. Like the water didn't feel like water haha hard to explain. Back on the boat for a trip back as we arrive back we get back in the car with moany Steve and then see a strange dog being walked flowed by a bloke walking his kid followed by a girl ...

      ... behind at all. Stunning views from mt coolum once again but the rain was about to hit so we followed the boys and jogged back down. Back to Sara's in time for lunch and to get ready for work. Work was busy but some nice people in so it went quite quickly plus I was on bar so I got to enjoy doing something different. We spent Saturday at the plaza as we had some items we needed to purchase before moving on to New Zealand but in the end we ended up in the cinema ...
