... br> We had planned on returning to the city the next day, Wednesday, but were drained by the long train ride as well as the emotions of the day. We, therefore, decided to return during the forthcoming weekend and explore more of the city.
Yesterday was spent at the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Museum and Library. Jens had wanted right from the start of the trip to do research there. We will report more about this in the next blog.

... but didn't think this would help our case to get through customs. Her response did remind me of travelling with my mom in India where she insisted that McDonalds was on the left and when we passed it on the right her response was that they must have moved it then.

After working ourselves out of the maze we did move surprisingly quickly and got on the shuttle bus out of the airport that my new friend Alex had suggested we take as it was a quarter of the price of a taxi ...

... have put on the museum anyway. I caught up with will again, who I had met in the Buenos Aires airport when our flight was delayed. We got ice cream and pretty much walked the whole of central park, to more areas that id never seen before. My favourite part of the day was watching the biggest black man participating in a roller skate disco. This guy could win body building comps, but instead he is doin the least manly thing ...

I Arrived in NYC super early and walked my way to the hotel. As it was too early i couldn't check in, so i dropped my bags off at the hotel to go exploring. I nearly fell over when he wanted $5 to drop my bag for a few hours. Oh well what choice did i have?

I had made plans before to catch up with Ben Bruining from home in times square. He was travelling the states with mike ross, but it was apparently too early for mike to come and gt out of bed to meet ...
