... which unfortunately is still being renovated inside although the outside is looking pristine . It is amazing how tiny it looked from the Top of the Rock. There are only three reasons I can think (a) I look friendly or approachable (b) I look like I know what I am doing (c) Americans are just more likely to ask random strangers what to do and where to go. I will let you decide which (feel free to comment. Perhaps I should have a poll?) For me personally I think the only likely option is the last one!

Firstly he thought that was the Irish Stout he had in Boston, next the Oyster Stout at John Dory’s, later he believed it to be the Rockaway Nitro Stout in the Ginger Man (a very pub-like-bar on the East side), then on Sunday he proclaimed it was Red Rooster’s Keegan’s Mother’s Milk Stout. Whether that is the “next best thing to Guinness” remains to be seen.
