    ... the Street's sights, with its abundance of male and female prostitutes, window dancers, freak shows, Thai boxing matches, bars, and Short Stay Hotels. It was - like Amsterdam's Red Light District - something to experience once, but that is probably enough of a glimpse into this reality.

    And so we prepare to shift gears and discover soon another, very different reality, the ancient culture of Myanmar.

    ... was not easing the heat rash and it became clear that we had attempted a "trip too soon" and that even just sitting in the heat was Going to be too much. We had a quick bite to eat at the end of the line and headed to the local bus station and caught the next bus back instead of waiting for the return train trip.     So today we went to Pattaya. This town is famous for its red light district but there's so much more to it than that. There's shotguns too!
