The day we left for surfers paradise, our bus was at 16:00 so we spent the morning and early afternoon avoiding the sun in post office square, utilising Brisbane's free wifi. After a heavy burrito lunch we waddled back to reclaim our luggage and caught the bus to surfers paradise.

But the 100 or so people all melted into the line of shade along the fringe of the beach and it just absorbed everyone up, so the beach itself just looked pristine and beautiful. Its got to be one of the most spectacular in the world, we think.
