Of course as we knew this was our last day in Europe. Without hesitation for me this was the best day overall. It literally flew by in the blink of an eye. We woke up and headed the French Alps. Still I am surprised how we just drive in and out of countries without hesitation.  Ariving at The Alps we got together, and got our tickets and headed to the cable cars. Overall this was an amazing experience that ...

It was so pretty to see the gardens on the mountains. It was a cloudy day so we could not see the other side of the lake but it was still an amazing view.
We stopped to eat lunch in the town the Nestle headquarters was in. When we go to the town center it was so beautiful and cute. There ...

... chalets outlined with Christmas lights looked like fairy tale ginger bread houses..

La Clusaz was packed with families with most congregated in the main square for a children's Christmas concert accompanied by loud theme music and then a finale of fireworks. Everyone was rugged up against the zero degree temperature with most adults including us taking advantage of the free gluhwein to gain some ...

... Clock for a closer look. It is a massive, working clock made entirely out of flowers - very pretty. We then headed back towards the Parc la Grange, severely underestimating the distance! A bit exhausted, we sat down in the park for a good half hour admiring the beautiful scenery. Right there and then, Mieke decided that she wanted to come and live in Geneva, in a lakeside mansion of course. I must say, if we ever had enough money, I would certainly consider it!

      We got ...
