... around 7 in the evening. Out of all these, I think, Alabama was the most scenic. The route goes through Atlanta and I was quite impressed with the city. It has a huge skyline that only Manhattan can beat and it is connected by a 14 lane highway (7 lanes each way) that is more impressive than the Bay bridge in SFO. I wonder why it still has one of the worst commuter traffics ...

Saturday morning, Kerrin and Wayne headed for what we thought was the nearest grocery store. We had passed some on the way in the previous evening, so we back tracked to a store on The Carolina Commons called Harris Teater. This turned out to be a very nice fairly upmarket large grocery store with very friendly people - most of the Kentucky twang was gone from their accents so we could actually understand what people ...
