... We arrived at Erle's about 3.30 and he made us so welcome. Later we needed to buy some food, we also needed some wine. (Tennessee is a dry state so you can only buy from a liqueur store which is easier said than done.) We ended up doing a ten mile round trip just to buy the wine! We came back to be greeted again by Erle and his friend Maurice( pronounced the French way) having poured our wine in polystyrene ...
... After a short recording session (one song for $20 on your own CD) we braved the crowds to find the Hard Rock Cafe a few blocks down Broadway, right into the middle of CMA Fest!! Hit the BP station in Metropolis, IL randomly and the boys were excited to find out that it's Superman's hometown. Even the gas station had these sweet cutouts to pose with. They want to collect stickers from all of the states as we travel so we were able to get a fun one. As we travel further south the people seem to get more polite. Less fashionable perhaps but definitely kinder and more considerate. Made it to Kentucky!!! ...
