... sleeping and staying dry. Alex decided he was coming to Colorado with me which definitely helped lift my mood. We spent the weekend getting all of our gear together, then headed off for real.

Denver is known as the mile high city because it is up at some 5000 feet - one mile - and yet all of the surrounds are flat with a big farming area. In the distance - some 40 miles - you can see the Rockies.
