Heute ist Ausflugstag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Heute morgen ging es mit dem Bus bei schönstem Sonnenschein und kalten Winden nach Corralejo,um dann eine Buggytour zu starten.
Vorbei an den Vulkanen mit grossartigen Ausblicken auf die karge Landschaft.
Nach einer Mittagspause mit gutem canarischen Essen, fuhren wir relativ nahe an der Küste zurück-das Meer und die atlantischen Wellen ...
To the islands I go! A little taste of paradise :)
... friends, but I was leaving for Lanzarote, another Canary Island, the next day!
On Wednesday I headed to catch the ferry across to Lanzarote and after a short, but rocky ride across the water, I arrived at my new destination. It was cheaper to fly back to mainland Spain from Lanzarote than Fuerteventura, and I figured it would be cool to visit another island anyways!
Stay tuned for more stories of my adventures! And boy oh boy, did I have many adventures in Lanzarote!! ;)

After our 2 days in the beautiful Isla Porta Santo including a complete tour of the island in a minibus
some of the views were breathtaking
14/10 we sailed the 33 miles to Madeira itself as the wind slowly increased and we finally got to the very impressive, but very expensive Quinta del Lorde Marina which is underneath a volcanic cliff

Living the quiet life
... island of La Graciosa in the north, not forgetting the superb beaches of Papagayo in the south. There are pretty villages and hermitas everywhere and even the capital, Arrecife, has interesting historical sites and a pleasant harbour and seafront.
We rented a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom modern “holiday” home in a small complex right on the cliff top by the sea front path. It is easy to walk into Playa Blanca (25 minutes walk) west, or across the hills ...
