... El Ray as we drove up to the volcanic summit of the island called El Teide. It was a pretty fun road full of switchbacks that took us through every conceivable landscape from rainforest to snow to pine trees to mists so thick you couldn't see ten feet down the road. ... named after the beach we were sitting at: Playa Jardin which contained egg, bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheese and pineapple - seriously worth a try if you are ever in Tenerife. ... unable to work out what time it was. I tried to be optimistic that this wasn't a sign of San Fran's continual edging towards a chasm of uselessness but I had to admit he was getting less and less reliable.
