... the cathedral we visited the museum and then the grand arch (which was actually a huge shopping arcade). I can say huge with some satisfaction since there were binoculars set into the marbled floor at several intervals so that you could better look down the corridors of wealth and power. All the big names were here: Versace, Prado, Louis Vuitton..etc. For ***** and giggles we went into each of the above mentioned shops - way out of my price range - but its nice to ...

... broccolini I think and Patrizia with blue cheese on hers so we shared with both being equally great. These were served with homemade potato crisps, nice and not to fatty. Then off to a gelato shop for cassata and coffee ice cream for me and Joe had a triple array that left us all groaning including chocolate, almond and ?.. Finally the farmers market to look at a huge range of products from specialist stalls and to try some cheeses and buy some fresh stuffed ...

Dear Family and Friends If you find this email in your inbox it may be because you asked to go on The List, you were on it last time and I took the liberty of leaving you on, or you are one of the Stoelwinder children who are being forced to experience their parent's holiday. For many of you who have seen us recently you will know where, how and for how long we are going. For the others here is an outline which may help you decide whether to accept what I hope will be a daily email, ...
