I think we were on the road before 08:00 this morning. We had a very short uphill section from our overnight stop to rejoin the delightful road which runs over the Cisa pass, and then we were on our way. ... seat out of habit haha!

They drove me back to their house, out of Genoa and into Sestri Ponente, on the outskirts, where they lived! The area was beautiful, just like their flat! They showed me to my room and told me that 8 people would be joining us for dinner that evening around 9pm. They left me to unpack and shower until dinner time; I managed to get a bit of conversation in with the dad too before everyone arrived which was nice!
