It was a short train ride and before we knew it (or I guess finished the movie Frozen) we were in Glasgow! Luckily it wasnt raining so we were able to find our hostel without too many difficulties, especially since it was so close to the train station. We spent the rest of the day walking around the main city centre of Glasgow.

I grabbed lunch at a really nice pub that offered a two course lunch for 5.95GBP, which is quite a good deal. My belly full, I moved on to explore an area of town that the gallery worker had told me was quite nice. I must have missed it, but I ended up in a giant park. Walking through the park I happened upon the Glasgow People's Palace. Built in 1898 in order to attempt to bring some culture to the overcrowded and downtrodden neighborhood ...

... Oh look we are changing driver" "Oh, see those lights over there, that is Sheffield" At 4am I was not really fussed about the lights that I had to prise my eyes open for and feign interest.
After arriving in London late and having to make a large detour with my huge bag around the Mall and Downing Street due to the Jubilee concert being packed away I am now sat in a cafe on Piccadilly off to get the underground for an hour to Heathrow - fingers crossed delay ...
