Madeira to Puerto Mogan, Gran Canaria
Madeira is magical! A wonderful, luscious and calm island open to explorers and botanical enthusiasts alike. Quite a contrasting island to the other Canary islands which are fairly baron and dark, Maderia is bright, green and buzzing with natural life. Leaving that behind on the morning of Wednesday 19th September we set off briskly in a well fuelled and provisioned Taboo for a three day sail to Gran Canaria (where she'd been 5 years previously).

Chillin on the Beach in Africa - Almost...
... dunes because it was right next to the nude beach, so lots of naked men and women roaming around. Then we had some beach time and before we knew it our last full day on Gran Canaria was over! We topped off the week with a club crawl organized by Pacha- a pretty well-known club in Playa del Ingles. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend it, it was a little overpriced and all of the clubs seemed the same!
All in all it was an amazing trip - definitely one of my favourites!

Gran Canaria Field Research
... haben aber keine gefunden. Und fast das beste,
das essen. Am letzten Abend waren wir in einem Tapas restaurant, ich
koennte mich wirklich jeden tag nur von tapas ernaehren. Sooo lecker.
Auf Gran Canaria wird ueberall mega viel Knoblauch rein gemacht, und die
haben die besten Sossen, rotes Mojo und aioli. Hmmmm.
Ich habe mich
mit allen gut verstanden und es hat richtig viel Spass gemacht. Das
