Cruise Phase 1
... the ports at the same time as us which makes it busy and crowded. As you would expect, most of our sightseeing is limited to the areas around the ports. Time and opportunity prohibits in depth exploring, but it certainly allows us to get the flavour of the different places we have visited.

Arrived in Heraklion
... and simple. We're both knackered from the early start and decide to have a little nap back at the hotel. 4 hours later we wake up..and it's time for food again! If you're in Heraklion for a short stay, like us, this is a great place for a stop over, with a roof terrace where you can drink and dine, overlooking the harbour. Heraklion to Mykonos - Ferry Trip from hell
... so someone told us to go down the other end of the port and get on another ferry that only goes to Santorini. We were told that there are lots of ferries that go from Santorini to Mykonos. For reason I wasn’t so convinced and I was close to saying to Troy lets go to the airport but no we have already paid our ferry tickets.

Goodbye Crete
... who works at this resort. She was lovely and funny. We talked about different nationalities and had some funny stories to tell. She mentioned that Greece is taken over by rich Russians and French but we thought it was more Brits. She said she likes Aussies but not so keen on some others. She was telling us that the fur coats we see in the shops are catered for the rich Russians and well we both agree we hate fur coats and would never own one. No dinner but ...
