... and mountainous, manly vegetated by conifers or sheoak-type trees. The water is typical Med - crystal clear.

I plan to stay in Marmaris until Saturday, then go to Fethiye to look at another boat. I have no idea how long I will stay here in Turkey; it depends on several things. Here are just a few pix that I took while having lunch today at the marina. Love and best wishes to all.

... squares with ornate fountains and found St. Paul's Gate leading out to the harbour. Amazing! We had beautiful sunshine today and no wind, so we enjoyed our last giros in the sun with wifi on the side! Walked outside the city and around to the Tower and Lighthouse of St. Nicholas. At the end of this small harbour stand two pillars each topped by a deer. This is where the Colossus is believed to have stood. A day on Crete, enjoying great mild weather, some 4,000 year old culture, fruits of the forest, home made wine and our first ever swim in the Mediterranean. Not a bad life. Another city (Heraklion) shut down by protests, this time students against police violence. We teamed up with our kiwi posse and hired a convoy of taxis that did a few of the sights. All in all I hugely enjoyed my time spent in Mugla. It is a small city with no tourists, however this gives you the chance to really explore the Turkish culture.

I would definitely recommend CSV; it gave me the opportunity to meet people from all over the world including Taiwan, Korea and from all over Europe.
