    Another hot sunny day started with the, by now, customary freshly squeezed orange juice to accompany a healthy breakfast of Greek yoghurt and cherries. Ok, plus a croissant or two. We headed in Xabia, a fairly large town with a long, deep beach that, as this is now high season, was pretty crowded. A few weeks ago it was more or less empty.     Nice slow start to the day. Freshly squeezed orange juice made from local oranges with fresh mango and pineapple, with croissant, jam and coffee. Heaven! Shortly after we headed to a local bodega to taste some wine. Then had a coffee in the pretty vine covered garden of a local restaurant. I do like Spanish coffee. Back to Casa Cronk to pack a picnic then off to their 'private' beach ...

    ... that my roommate and I slept through our alarms. We missed our first class, which was okay because it was a tour through the Cathedral of Valencia, which I have already seen multiple times. The rest of classes were normal, and after school I went souvenir shopping for a while. That night we went to karaoke after the Brazil-Germany game, which was pretty bad.
