What's a TravelStream™ and why do I need one?
A TravelStream™, as we call it here, is a direct feed which can stream our travel stories directly to your desktop. It's kind of like having your own TV channel sent to you over the web.
So what is all this about? Simply put, RSS and ATOM are new ways for web sites, like ours, to distribute web content without using a web browser.
To simplify all of this gobly-gook, we refer to our feeds as TravelStreams™. Using a TravelStream™ you can have either a specific traveler's stories or a selection of all of our stories sent directly to you for your reading pleasure on a regular basis.
Using an application such as FeedReader, FeedDemon or a web site with support for syndication such as Blog Lines, News Gator or My Yahoo you can subscribe to receive updates to new content on this site. No need to open your browser and visit us, the information will be sent to your news reader!
To start, subscribe to a news service or download and install a news reader from the ones listed above. Once you're setup, you can then select the TravelStream™ you would like to subscribe to from the list below.
If you are looking for a specific traveler's feed, make sure to click on the XML icon within their blog.
